Asian Handicap Betting (AH) is a very popular soccer bet.

With this type of bet you effectively give a team a head start and the draw is eliminated. In theory, each team has a roughly equal chance of winning.

Asian Handicap 0

Team A (0) v Team B (0)

You win if your selected team wins. If it is a draw, your stake is returned. 

The 0.5 Asian Handicap 
Team A (-0.5) v Team B (+0.5) 

This means that Team B receives an imaginary half a goal lead at the start of the match. 
If you bet on Team A who start half a goal down, they have to win the match for your bet to win. 
If you bet on Team B, you win if they win the match or if they draw. 

The 1 Asian Handicap 
Team A (-1.0) v Team B (+1.0)

This means that Team B receives an imaginary goal lead at the start of the match. 
If you bet on Team A who start one goal down(-1.0), they have to win the match by 2 goals or more for your bet to win.
If Team A wins by 1 goal, your stake is refunded.
If you select Team B who has a one goal lead (+1.0) then you win if they win or draw. If Team B lose by just one goal then stake is refunded. 

The 1.5 Asian Handicap
Team A (-1.5) v Team B (+1.5)

This means that Team B receives an imaginary one and half goals lead at the start of the match. 
If you bet on Team A who start one and a half goals down, you win if the team wins the match by two or more goals. 
If you bet on Team B, you win if they win the match, if they draw or if they loose by one goal.

Double Asian Handicap 

Team A  (-0,75) v Team B (+0,75) 

In double handicap betting, bet is split in two. 
In this example half the stake money is placed on Team A minus half a goal and the other half on Team A minus 1 goal. The result of the bet is worked out using the methods described above. 

Double Handicap 0, 0.5 
Team A (-0.25) v Team B (+0.25)
This means that your bet is split in two.

1st Bet Team A (-0) v Team B (+0)
2ND Bet Team A (-0.5) v Team B (+0.5)

If you bet on Team A, you win if the team wins the match by one or more goals. If they draw you lose half of your stake. The other half is returned.
If you bet on Team B, you win if they win the match, if they draw half your stake is returned and half is a winner at the odds taken.

The Double Asian Handicap 0.5, 1
Team A (-0.75) v Team B (+0.75)

This means that your bet is split in two.

1st Bet Team A (-0.5) v Team B (+0.5)
2ND Bet Team A (-1. 0) v Team B (+1. 0)

If you bet on Team A, you win if the team wins the match by two or more goals. If they win by one goal, half your stake is returned and half is a winner at the odds taken. If they draw you lose your stake. 
If you bet on Team B, you win if they win the match or if they draw. If it loses by one goal, you lose the half of the amount staked. The other half is returned.
